The United Way Area Agency on Aging of Jefferson County (UWAAA) is requesting proposals from applicants interested in providing contracted legal services for older individuals and persons with disabilities.
Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to provide no-cost legal advice and representation, delivered by an attorney, to older individuals with economic or social needs as defined in Sections 102(a)(23) and 102(a)(24) of the Older Americans Act. UWAAA’s Legal Assistance Program is supported by Older Americans Act Title III-B funds awarded by the Administration for Community Living and the Alabama Department of Senior Services.
