For help sorting through your Medicare options, making changes and signing up for benefits during Open Enrollment (October 15th to December 7, 2017), SHIP is holding “walk-in” events for Jefferson County residents at the following locations on the dates indicated. No appointment is necessary to attend these events. You may come anytime during the hours of the events; individual sessions usually take about 45 minutes. If these dates are not convenient, however, you can call 1-800-AGE-LINE to schedule an appointment for assistance at our office, located at the United Way Area Agency on Aging, 3600 8th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35222.
