These Support Groups Help Caregivers Cope

The Older Relative Caregiver Support Group is dedicated to assisting adults aged 55 and older who are not the biological parents but are responsible for parenting children under 18 or serving as primary caregivers for individuals with disabilities. We understand that caregiving and raising children present unique challenges at any age, and special considerations that come into play when the responsibility falls on older relatives.. Our group provides a space where participants can connect, share experiences and collaboratively find solutions to common issues.

The Caregiver Support Group recognizes the challenges of caregiving and provides caregivers a safe haven to frankly and confidentially discuss their situations and problems they may be encountering. By sharing their concerns with others who may have similar experiences, ideas are exchanged and solutions are often developed that help caregivers fulfill their responsibilities more productively with less stress and a more positive outlook.
